Tethys (www.tethys.cat), edited by the Catalan Association of Meteorology, is an open access journal that offers a place to publish works on Meteorology and Climatology, with special interest on subjects related to the Western Mediterranean Area. It aims to give diffusion to the works made in or about our geographical environment from the Universities and the professional sector.

Tethys receives original contributions in Catalan, Spanish and English. In all cases, the title and the abstract have to be send also in English. The articles go through a "peer-review" process that determines if they are suited for publication and what modifications have to be made before acceptance. Publishing is without costs for the authors and access to the contents is free. The maximum number of words per paper is 5000.
