Resumen

Durante las dos últimas décadas del siglo XX, la mayor parte de las redes meteorológicas sustituyeron los termómetros mecánicos tradicionales (habitualmente situados en una garita meteorológica) por termómetros electrónicos (frecuentemente fuera de la garita, cubiertos por un protector de plástico). El impacto de este cambio instrumental en la climatología de las temperaturas máximas y mínimas diarias se estudia en este trabajo, mediante el análisis de once años de datos de dos estaciones que han tomado medidas en paralelo en un lugar de estudio con clima mediterráneo.

Resumen

El programa internacional HyMeX (Hydrological Mediterranean Experiment) tiene como objetivo la mejora de nuestro conocimiento del ciclo del agua en el Mediterráneo, trabajando de manera multidisciplinaria, con una aproximación multiescala y haciendo un especial hincapié en los acontecimientos extremos. Este programa tiene que permitir mejorar nuestro conocimiento y nuestra capacidad predictiva en relación a los riesgos hidrometeorológicos más importantes y su evolución durante el próximo siglo.

Resumen

En el presente trabajo se analizan las teleconexiones energéticas observadas entre las anomalías de la temperatura superficial del mar en el Atlántico Norte y la ciclogénesis de la cuenca occidental del Mediterráneo, una cubeta de alto reborde en cuya parte central un mar cálido y evaporadizo es decisivo para unos intercambios energéticos claves en su autárquica climatología. Ello puede ser la causa de la nula significación observada en las teleconexiones entre la pluviometría mediterránea con el índice de la Oscilación en el Atlántico Norte.
