Resumen

Varios productos de precipitación utilizan radiancias y reflectancias obtenidas del sensor SEVIRI (Spinning Enhanced Visible and Infrared Imager) para estimar la precipitación de caracter convectivo. Es sabido que el uso directo de estos valores en algoritmos de precipitación sobreestiman el área y subestiman la intensidad de precipitación.

Resumen

Se ha realizado la comparación de los valores promedios mensuales de irradiancia global diaria medidos en 40 estaciones de la Red Radiométrica Nacional en banda ancha de la Agencia Estatal de Meteorología con los valores mensuales de Surface Incoming Shortwave radiation (SIS) del Climate Monitoring-Satellite Application Facility para el año 2006.
