L’objectiu d’aquest treball és la caracterització de la irradiància solar eritemàtica (UVER) global sobre plans inclinats. Per a això, s’han estudiat diferents models geomètrics, tant isòtrops com anisòtrops, que han estat utilitzats per a estimar l’UVER global sobre plans inclinats a 40° en les orientacions nord, sud, est i oest. S’ha suposat la hipòtesi que aquests models, desenvolupats tots ells inicialment per a obtenir la irradiància difusa en tot l’espectre solar, poden ser aplicats en l’interval molt més restringit de l’UVER. Els resultats han estat comparats amb les dades experimentals mitjançant els següents paràmetres estadístics: la desviació mitjana, la desviació absoluta mitjana i la desviació quadràtica mitjana. L’UVER global s’ha analitzat per a totes les condicions de cel i per a condicions de cel clar, i s’ha comprovat que no existiesen diferències apreciables entre els diferents models, en tots dos casos. En conjunt, el model que millors resultats proporciona és el model anisòtrop de Gueymard tot i que millora en menys del 2% el model Isòtrop.
